Multe persoane au încercat să-l ajute, dar a fost doar prin mare răbdare și înțelepciune că a putut fi adus în siguranță. Când a venit la noi, starea lui era cumplită: avea aproape nici o păr, ochii îi erau grav inflamați și era foarte subnutrit. În mod firesc, a fost extrem de speriat la început și a petrecut cea mai mare parte din timp ascuns. Dar Riggi a făcut o transformare incredibilă. Astăzi este plin de bucurie, îi place să joace cu alți câini și este foarte social și echilibrat în cadrul grupului. Este inițial precaut față de oameni – mai ales bărbați, pe care îi abordează cu inseguranță și ezitare. Cu persoane cunoscute și încredere, el caută activ apropierea și se bucură cu adevărat de atenție. Odată ce a construit încrederea, el se deschide într-un companion recunoscător, fericit și energetic. Riggi este un câine special cu un caracter blând și deschis, care dorește să ajungă și să aparțină.
