Hello... my name is Rosaline, and I'd love a second chance.I don't remember doing anything wrong, but somehow I found myself left outside a Pets at Home, all alone. I was frightened, confused, and didn't know who to trust. When the rescue took me in, I was so scared that I just wanted to hide away from the world.Thankfully, one of the lovely people who works here offered me a foster home, and for the first time in a long while, I could finally start to feel safe. It took me a little while to come out of my shell, but with patience, kindness, and lots of quiet reassurance, I've discovered that people can actually be pretty wonderful.These days, I'm doing really, really well. I still appreciate a few good hiding spots around the house, they're my little safe places, but I'm becoming braver every day. Once I've settled in, I love having my own humans to spend time with, and I'll happily accept a bit of fuss and attention. In fact, now that I've realised what love feels like, I rather like the idea of having it all to myself.I'm also a big fan of the important things in life: climbing to the highest spot on my cat tree, tucking into a tasty meal, and finding the perfect cosy place for an afternoon nap.Because I've had such a difficult start, I'm looking for a calm, understanding home where I can continue to grow in confidence. A home without children would suit me best, as I can still be a little timid. I'm currently in foster with some dogs and I'm slowly learning they're not all that scary, but I'd probably be happiest without them or with very very calm, respectful ones. And after everything I've been through, I think I'd quite like to be the only cat in the home, soaking up all the love and attention for myself.I may not be the kind of cat who rushes over to greet you on day one. But if you can offer me patience, a few cosy hiding places, and a quiet home where I can truly belong, I promise I'll keep finding the courage to show you just what a sweet little soul I am.I've already learned that life can get better. Now I'm just waiting for the family who'll prove it to me forever.
