Rossi nu mai este la fel de rapid ca numele lui, dar încă este un băiat activ pentru vârsta lui de 10 ani. Este un băiat prietenos care se supără ușor, dar s-a adaptat bine în casa de îngrijire și o salută cu entuziasm pe călăuză fiecare dată când vine acasă. Îi place să fie împletit și vorbit blând și va dormi liniștit în patul lui. Acesta pare să fie spațiul lui sigur, iar dacă este acolo ar trebui lăsat singur. Rossi își place să fie afară și este foarte interactiv când nu are frânghia și adesea caută un părere bun de la handler, iar el preferă locuri liniștite și parcuri deoarece nu îi place circulația aglomerată. A trăit cu alte câini anterior și atunci când era în boxe părea să preia stresul lor și să devină reactiv, dar în casa de îngrijire s-a făcut un prieten, deși a durat un timp. În general ignoră alți câini, dar poate fi reactiv dacă sunt aproape și se simte neîncrezător. Am dori să-l vedem plecând acasă la o familie care îi va oferi timp să-și încredințeze și să-l ajute să-și construiască în continuare încrederea la propriul ritm. Rossi este un domn bătrân și comportamentul și obiceiurile sale pot părea complexe uneori, dar el este doar un câine îngrijorat care are nevoie de cineva să-l ghidze. Rossi poate trăi cu copii mai mari de 14 ani, dar nu cu alte animale. Este antrenat în casă și poate sta singur până la trei ore fără probleme după ce s-a adaptat. Rossi are luxație minoră a amândoror patelae, care nu-l deranjează. El călătorește bine în mașină și va intra fericit.

Rossi may not be as fast as his namesake these days but he's still an active boy for his 10 years. He is a friendly boy who gets overwhelmed easily, but he has settled well into his foster home and greets his carer excitedly each time she comes home. He loves to be brushed and spoken to gently and will sleep contentedly in his own bed. That seems to be his safe space, and he should be left to himself if he’s in there. Rossi enjoys being outside and is very interactive when off his lead and will often seek a nice scratch from his handler, and he prefers quiet spaces and parks as he doesn’t like busy roads. He lived with other dogs previously and when in kennels he seemed to feed off their stress and become reactive himself, but in his foster home he has made a friend, though it’s taken a while. He generally ignores other dogs but can be reactive if they’re nearby and he is uncomfortable. We would love to see him go home to a family that will give him time to trust them and help him continue to build his confidence at his pace. Rossi is a senior gentleman and his behaviours and habits can seem complex at times but he’s just a worried dog who needs someone to guide him. Rossi can live with children over the age of 14 but no other pets. He is house trained and can be left alone for up to three hours without worry once he's settled in. Rossi has minor luxation of both patella that doesn't bother him. He travels well in the car and will happily jump in.
