Currently, she lives in a foster home in Wallstawe and is still searching for her own people. Salus is athletic but also built rather sturdily, making her perfect for all kinds of activities. She is eager to learn and takes everything in willingly. She plays for hours with the dogs in the foster home, but there's one black female dog she doesn't get along with. Whether it's because of the color, we can't say for sure at the moment 😃. Salus is friendly, open, and curious with all people. She prefers to be fed alone, as she doesn't share her food, but she has no problems with other dogs when it comes to treats. She is already house-trained. Salus and her 4 siblings, Atlas, Elliot, Sunny, and Tapio, were brought to the public shelter in Bistrita because they had grown too big for their foster home. The dogs lived under very poor conditions there, and the young dogs should travel quickly to avoid spending valuable time in the shelter. Salus was lucky and could pack her bags and travel to Germany. Her brothers, Sunny and Atlas, could also travel to a foster home, but Tapio and Elliot are still desperately in need of a place. Salus was named after a Greek goddess. This goddess stands for well-being, comfort, safety, and health—exactly what we wish for Salus. She is the only girl among her siblings. But just like her 4 brothers, Salus shows herself to be a totally lovable and open-hearted puppy. She enjoys the attention and care of people and is also happy with every pat. Currently, Salus is around 7-8 months old. We assume she will grow into a rather larger dog with a height of around 55-60cm. She is currently 45cm tall and weighs 18kg. We cannot rule out that Salus may have herding or kitchen protection qualities. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced home where she can thrive, whether they already have experience with these qualities or are willing to learn and provide the optimal conditions. She should live in a rural area, with a garden being ideal, and with little change in people. Herding dogs bring great qualities. People who already have experience with herding dogs don't want any other breeds, as they are very loyal and faithful companions despite their big heads. Salus is already learning leash walking, house training, and being left alone. During puberty, she will likely test boundaries and perhaps forget some things she has learned. But once this phase is over, Salus will make a great lifelong companion. Salus is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. Ihre Geschichte: Die süße Salus ist eine echte Frohnatur! Aktuell lebt sie in einer Pflegestelle in Wallstawe und ist noch auf der Suche nach ihren eigenen Menschen. Salus ist sportlich aber auch eher stabil gebaut, so dass sie für alle Aktivitäten prima geeignet wäre. Sie ist lernwillig und nimmt alles gerne an, was man ihr beibringt. Sie spielt stundenlang mit den Hunden in der Pflegestelle, nur mit der einen schwarzen Hündin stimmt die Chemie nicht. Ob es an der Farbe liegt, können wir leider aktuell nicht sagen 😀 Salus ist zu allen Menschen freundlich, offen und neugierig. Gefüttert werden, möchte sie lieber alleine, denn sie teilt nicht gerne. Aber bei Leckerlies hat sie keine Probleme mit anderen Hunden. Stubenrein ist sie auch schon so gut wie. Salus und ihre 4 Geschwister Atlas, Elliot, Sunny und Tapio wurden in das öffentliche Shelter von Bistrita gebracht, da sie leider zu groß wurden für ihre Pflegestelle. Dort lebten die Hunde leider unter sehr schlechten Bedingungen und die Junghunde sollten schnell reisen, damit sie ihre wertvolle Zeit nicht im Shelter verbringen müssen. Salus hatte Glück und konnte bereits ihr Köfferchen packen und nach Deutschland reisen. Die Brüder Sunny und Atlas konnten auch in eine Pflegestelle reisen, nur Tapio und Elliot suchen jetzt noch dringend einen Platz. Salus hat ihren Namen von einer griechischen Göttin. Diese steht für das Wohl, Wohlbefinden, Sicherheit und Gesundheit. Alles Dinge, die wir uns auch so sehr für Salus wünschen würden. Sie ist das einzige Mädchen unter ihren Geschwistern. Aber genau wie ihre 4 Brüder zeigt sich Salus als ein total liebes und aufgeschlossenes Hundemädchen. Sie genießt die Aufmerksamkeit und Fürsorge der Menschen und freut sich auch über jede Streicheleinheit. Aktuell ist Salus ca. 7-8 Monate alt. Wir gehen davon aus, dass sie ausgewachsen ein eher größerer Hund werden wird mit ca. 55-60cm. Aktuell ist sie ca. 45cm groß mit 18kg. Wir können nicht ausschließen, dass Salus Hüte- oder Herdenschutzeigenschaften mitbringt. Daher suchen wir für sie ein erfahrenes Zuhause, das bereits Erfahrungen mit diesen Eigenschaften gemacht hat oder dazu bereit ist, sich mit diesen auseinander zu setzen und vor allem die optimalen Bedingungen mitbringt. Sie sollten eher ländlich leben, ein Garten wäre toll und wenig wechselnden Personen. Herdenschutzhunde bringen tolle Eigenschaften mit. Menschen, die bereits Erfahrung mit Herdenschutzhunden gemacht haben, wollen keine anderen Rassen mehr, da sie trotz ihres Dickschädels sehr treue und loyale Begleiter sind. Leinenführung, Stubenreinheit und Alleinbleiben lernt die tolle Salus bereits fleissig. Während der Pubertät wird sie sicherlich Grenzen testen und vielleicht schon gelernte Dinge wieder „vergessen“. Aber wenn man diese Phase erstmal gemeistert hat, wird Salus eine tolle Partnerin fürs Leben werden. Salus ist gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Sie bringt einen EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro in ihre neue Familie ziehen.
