Sam is a big-hearted dog who primarily seeks love, tenderness, and companionship. Very attached to his loved ones, he particularly enjoys moments of affection and cuddles. He used to live with Motta, his lifelong companion, who unfortunately passed away recently. The shelter environment has changed him, and today he shows more sensitivity and concern than before. Sam will need a calm, caring, and patient home—one that can give him the time he needs to regain trust and find his bearings again. Before arriving at the shelter, he got along well with other dogs. Today, the communal living conditions in the shelter disturb him, but he could certainly adapt to living with another dog—provided that introductions are carried out under the right circumstances, away from the stressful setting of the shelter. Sam deserves to find a warm home where he can once again thrive, surrounded by love and kindness.

Sam est un chien au grand cœur qui recherche avant tout de l'amour, de la douceur et de la présence. Très attaché à ses proches, il apprécie particulièrement les moments de tendresse et les câlins. Il vivait auparavant avec Motta, son compagnon de vie, qui nous a malheureusement quittés. L'environnement du refuge l'a changé et il montre aujourd'hui davantage de sensibilité et d'inquiétude qu'auparavant. Sam aura besoin d'un foyer calme, bienveillant et patient, qui saura lui laisser le temps de reprendre confiance et de retrouver ses repères. Avant son arrivée au refuge, il s'entendait bien avec les autres chiens. Aujourd'hui, les conditions de vie en collectivité le perturbent, mais il pourra tout à fait envisager de vivre avec un autre chien, à condition que les présentations soient réalisées dans de bonnes conditions, en dehors du contexte stressant du refuge. Sam mérite de retrouver un foyer chaleureux où il pourra à nouveau s'épanouir, entouré d'amour et de douceur.
