La 9 ani, frumoasa Smudge a venit în îngrijirea noastră din cauza unei despărțiri care a dus la faptul că proprietarul ei a devenit fără adăpost. În prezent se adaptează la îngrijirea temporară și se obișnuiește treptat cu o schimbare mare în lumea ei. Smudge este o fată calmă și blândă care poate fi puțin incertă în timp ce-și găsește din nou calea, dar deja arată cât de bună companie este. Ea primește gustările cu blândețe, are maniere excelente și știe o varietate de comenzi, inclusiv așază-te, jos, stai, așteaptă și mers. Este și un vis pe laniță și îi place foarte mult să meargă. Fiind crescută anterior într-o casă cu mai mulți câini, Smudge se cunoaște treptat cu câinii din casa de îngrijire. Considerăm că ar putea trăi cu un bărbat calm, răbdător, castrat, de dimensiune similară, subiect la introduceri atente. Deși Smudge nu a trăit niciodată cu pisici, ea a fost calmă și prietenoasă cu cele întâlnite în îngrijire. Îi place să salute alte animale și a arătat o natură foarte relaxată. Totuși, ca și toți câinii, nu putem garanta cum ar reacționa la compania pisicilor într-un mediu nou. Nu este deranjată de păsări, deși a fost cunoscută pentru a latra la vulpele locale, probabil ceva pe care nu l-a întâlnit niciodată. Smudge nu a trăit niciodată cu copii. Îi iubește pe oameni și îi place mai mult decât orice afecțiunea și compania, dar la vârsta ei preferă un mediu mai liniștit. Considerăm că ar fi potrivită pentru o casă cu copii pașnici, respectuoși, cu vârsta de 12 ani și peste care să înțeleagă nevoia ei de spațiu și odihnă. Această frumoasă fată trăiește din companie și ar fi potrivită pentru o casă unde cineva este prezent majoritatea zilei. Din cauza tulburării prin care a trecut recent, poate deveni îngrijorată dacă rămâne singură pentru perioade lungi, deși cu răbdare și asigurări o așteptăm să-și crească confianța pe măsură ce se adaptează. Smudge este pur și simplu un Akită foarte iubit care merita o casă pentru totdeauna unde va fi iubit, îndulcit și niciodată mai trebuie să aștepte dragostea și atenția. Poți fi tu? At 9 years young, beautiful Smudge has sadly come into our care following a relationship breakdown which resulted in her owner becoming homeless. She is currently settling into foster care and slowly adjusting to a huge change in her world. Smudge is a calm, gentle girl who can be a little unsure while she finds her paws again, but she is already showing what a lovely companion she is. She takes treats very gently, has excellent manners, and knows a range of commands including sit, down, stay, wait and walk. She is also an absolute dream on the lead and thoroughly enjoys her walks. Having previously lived in a multi dog household, Smudge is now gradually getting to know the dogs in her foster home. We feel she could potentially live with a calm, patient, neutered male of a similar size, subject to careful introductions. Although Smudge has never lived with cats, she has been calm and friendly with those she has met in foster. She enjoys greeting other animals and has shown a very relaxed nature. However, as with all dogs, we cannot guarantee how she would respond to feline companions in a new home environment. She is not bothered by birds, although she has been known to bark at the local foxes, perhaps something she has never encountered before. Smudge has not lived with children previously. She absolutely adores people and enjoys nothing more than affection and company, but at her age she would prefer a quieter home environment. We feel she would be best suited to a home with calm, respectful children aged 12 years and over who can understand her need for space and rest. This lovely girl thrives on companionship and would suit a home where someone is around for most of the day. Due to the upheaval she has recently experienced, she can become worried if left alone for long periods, although with patience and reassurance we expect her confidence to continue growing as she settles. Smudge is simply a very loving Akita who deserves a forever home where she will be cherished, spoiled rotten, and never have to wait for love and attention again. Could that be you?
