Sobel is a very special and incredibly sweet little cat who deserves a chance to leave behind a situation that hasn’t been easy for her. She is currently in a foster cage because the other cats were constantly bullying her. The saddest thing is that Paula wasn’t doing anything to them; she simply couldn’t find her place amongst them. To protect her and spare her further stress, it was decided to move her to a space where she could be at peace and feel safe. Despite the circumstances, Sobel surprises everyone with her calm nature. Whilst many cats would feel very overwhelmed in such a situation, she remains calm and accepts her surroundings with a patience that is truly touching. It is impossible not to feel tender towards her when you see her. With people, she is a somewhat shy and insecure cat when she doesn’t know them, but she is by no means aloof or aggressive. She just needs time to feel comfortable and realise that she is safe. Once she gains confidence, she shows her sweetest and calmest side.
