Our sweet Soja arrived at her foster family in Ehingen at the end of April. After a short period of adjustment, she has gradually opened up and gained trust. What was initially a cautious female dog has quickly become a friendly and curious young companion, exploring her new world with great attention and joy. At seven months old, Soja currently measures about 50 centimeters in shoulder height and is expected to remain a medium-sized female dog. She has a slender, athletic build with a beautiful, warm fur pattern. Once Soja has built trust, she actively seeks the company of her people. She enjoys cuddles very much and shows affection and attentiveness. At the same time, she is full of energy and enthusiasm. She likes to move around, curiously explore her surroundings, and loves to spend time in the garden or go into the water. For active people who enjoy being outdoors, she will be a wonderful companion and will surely enjoy shared activities or sporting pursuits. Soja is currently at the beginning of her puberty. During this phase, many things are questioned again, stimuli can be perceived more intensely, and concentration can be more difficult. It is therefore possible that previously learned things may be temporarily less reliably retrievable. With patience, clear orientation, and loving consistency, this developmental phase can be well supported. Soja currently meets strangers with some reserve. She needs people who meet her with patience and empathy and give her the time to build trust. But it is beautiful to witness how she then opens up and shows her gentle, loving dog soul. In everyday life, she already shows many beautiful approaches. She runs pleasantly on the leash and orientates herself well without pulling, she finds car rides fun, and she jumps in and out by herself. She lives peacefully with four dogs of different genders and sizes, and also socializes and is friendly to chickens, ducks, and horses. Soja is strongly attuned to her environment and especially to her pack. New or unfamiliar stimuli like quick movements, loud noises, or unknown sounds still unsettle her a little, but she is making progress and is gaining increasing security. The pretty fawn-nosed girl is smart and learns quickly, often understanding new situations within a short time. At the same time, she needs age-appropriate mental stimulation for her body and mind. If she doesn't get enough of it, she may seek her own mental stimulation and then, for example, start leaving shoes around or curiously discover the contents of a cabinet. For our shelter dog, we wish for a loving home in a more rural setting, ideally with a garden. A confident single dog could support her further development and provide her with additional security. Originally, Soja came from the public shelter in Baia Mare. As a tiny puppy, she was rescued alone from the street, without a mother and without protection. It is wonderful to see how she has developed and gained trust in her life. Due to her young age, Soja is not yet spayed. She is, however, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas, and of course has her EU pet passport with her. Unsere hübsche Soja hat sich in den letzten Monaten ganz großartig entwickelt. Inzwischen ist die junge Hündin etwa 9 Monate alt, misst rund 53 cm Schulterhöhe und steckt mitten in der Pubertät. Eine spannende und lehrreiche Phase, die sie bisher mit Bravour meistert. Soja hat sich inzwischen vollständig in den Alltag ihrer Pflegefamilie und an das Leben in Deutschland integriert. Aus der anfangs vorsichtigen Hündin ist eine fröhliche, neugierige und immer selbstbewusster werdende Begleiterin geworden, die mit viel Freude durchs Leben geht. Ihr Gehorsam verbessert sich stetig, und besonders schön: Der Rückruf klappt bereits so zuverlässig, dass sie problemlos ohne Leine laufen kann. Die junge Hündin ist wachsam geworden und zeigt dies sowohl am als auch im Haus. Dabei bleibt sie jedoch stets gut ansprechbar. Ihr Selbstbewusstsein wächst Schritt für Schritt, und sie entdeckt ihre Umwelt zunehmend neugierig und interessiert. Besonders das Schwimmen und Baden hat sie inzwischen für sich entdeckt – eine große Leidenschaft, die ihr sichtlich Spaß macht. Es ist eine Freude, sie auf ihrem Weg zu begleiten und zu sehen, wie glücklich sie ihr Leben genießt. Im Umgang mit ihren Menschen zeigt sich Soja sehr liebevoll und zugewandt. Hat sie Vertrauen gefasst, sucht sie aktiv Nähe und genießt Streicheleinheiten in vollen Zügen. Gleichzeitig bringt sie viel Energie und Lebensfreude mit und freut sich über gemeinsame Aktivitäten in der Natur. Fremden Menschen gegenüber ist Soja nach wie vor eher schüchtern und zurückhaltend, jedoch längst nicht mehr so misstrauisch wie zu Beginn. Mit etwas Geduld und Einfühlungsvermögen taut sie auf und zeigt dann ihre sanfte, freundliche Art. Im Alltag überzeugt Soja mit vielen positiven Eigenschaften: Sie läuft gut an der Leine, orientiert sich schön an ihren Bezugspersonen und kommt auch mit anderen Tieren bestens zurecht. In ihrer Pflegefamilie lebt sie harmonisch mit mehreren Hunden unterschiedlichen Alters und Geschlechts zusammen und begegnet auch Katzen, Hühnern, Enten und Pferden freundlich und sozial. Soja ist eine kluge, lernwillige Hündin, die schnell versteht, was von ihr erwartet wird. Natürlich braucht sie – ihrem Alter entsprechend – weiterhin liebevolle, konsequente Führung sowie ausreichend geistige und körperliche Auslastung. Für Soja wünschen wir uns ein liebevolles Zuhause, idealerweise in eher ländlicher Umgebung, gerne mit Garten. Ein souveräner Ersthund wäre schön, ist aber kein Muss. Ursprünglich stammt Soja aus dem öffentlichen Shelter in Baia Mare. Als winziges Welpenmädchen wurde sie allein von der Straße gerettet, ohne Mutter und ohne Schutz. Umso schöner ist es zu sehen, wie sie sich heute zu einer so tollen jungen Hündin entwickelt hat, die voller Vertrauen in ihre Zukunft blickt. Soja ist geimpft, entwurmt, entfloht und besitzt einen EU-Heimtierausweis. Nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr darf sie in ihr neues Zuhause ziehen.
