Popeye is a 2-year-old, neutered male dog from Romania. He is 60 cm tall and weighs 25 kg. He behaves very playfully for his age and has many ideas in his head. He is incredibly cuddly and friendly with his primary caregiver. Towards men, he is generally more suspicious. He is nearly house-trained, but occasionally has accidents at night. Unfortunately, Popeye hasn't learned much at the animal shelter in Romania and is overwhelmed by the hectic city life. In some situations that make him uncomfortable, he reacts with growling and barking. Popeye would appreciate a rural home where he can learn to live in peace with people without the hustle and bustle of the city. Popeye ist ein 2 Jahre alter, kastrierter Rüde aus Rumänien. Er ist 60 cm groß und wiegt 25 kg. Er verhält sich seinem Alter entsprechend sehr verspielt und hat viele Flausen im Kopf. Er ist seiner Bezugsperson gegenüber wahnsinnig verschmust und zutraulich. Männern gegenüber ist er grundsätzlich eher misstrauisch. Er ist nahezu stubenrein, nur nachts passiert noch ab und zu ein Malheure. Leider hat er im Tierheim in Rumänien nichts kennengelernt und ist mit dem hektischen Stadtleben überfordert. In manchen Situationen, die ihm nicht ganz geheuer sind, reagiert er mit Knurren und Bellen. Popeye würde sich über ein ländliches Zuhause freuen, wo er in Ruhe das Zusammenleben mit Menschen kennlernen kann, ganz ohne die Hektik in der Großstadt. Der junge Rüde muss zwar noch sehr viel lernen, mit viel Geduld und Training wird er aber zu einem treuen Begleiter.
