He loves heading out for walks where he can explore the world at his own pace, taking in all the sights and smells — sniffing is definitely one of his favourite activities! Back at home, he’s happiest in a quiet environment where he can relax and feel secure. Walter is best suited to an adult-only, pet-free home. Due to a previous incident with another dog, Walter struggles with being harnessed or handled on certain parts of his body. He needs calm, patient adopters who understand nervous dogs and are willing to work gently with him to build his confidence and improve his handling tolerance over time. A predictable routine and a peaceful household will help Walter thrive.
