En contact permanent avec un chien depuis un bout de temps, vous vous demandez souvent ce que tous ces sons qu’il émet peuvent bien signifier. Quant aux gémissements du chien , dans la plupart des cas, c’est un moyen d’exprimer une certaine gêne psychologique. Par exemple quand le chien est mal à l’aise en la présence d’un autre animal, quand vous le laissez seul ou quand vous venez de le gronder. Le gémissement peut être très différent d’un chien à un autre. Le grognement du chien peut dire de nombreuses choses. Cela peut par exemple exprimer sa colère, mais aussi une menace d’attaque. Généralement un chien grogne pour intimider ses semblables ainsi que les humains, étrangers ou non. Le hurlement du chien est un comportement typique que l’on retrouve dans le langage canin. Un chien peut aussi hurler pour de nombreuses raisons : il communique avec ses semblables pour indiquer sa position par exemple. Il peut aussi faire cela pour attirer l’attention de son maître, c’est pour cela que c’est si dérangeant la plupart du temps.
