Généralement un chien grogne pour intimider ses semblables ainsi que les humains, étrangers ou non. Le hurlement du chien est un comportement typique que l’on retrouve dans le langage canin. Un chien peut aussi hurler pour de nombreuses raisons : il communique avec ses semblables pour indiquer sa position par exemple. Il peut aussi faire cela pour attirer l’attention de son maître, c’est pour cela que c’est si dérangeant la plupart du temps.
