Meet Henry – The King is Ready for His Castle! Henry is a handsome Bull Type crossbreed who recently arrived at Islay Dog Rescue after being found as a stray. Despite his unknown past, he has quickly won everyone over with his larger-than-life personality and affectionate nature. A friendly, happy boy, Henry greets everyone he meets with enthusiastic tail wags and a warm welcome. He absolutely loves fuss, cuddles, playing with his toys and being the centre of attention. Henry is an energetic lad who thoroughly enjoys his walks. He's a pleasure to walk on the lead, paying little attention to passing traffic and remaining calm and curious around livestock. Whether you're exploring the countryside or strolling through the neighbourhood, Henry will make a wonderful walking companion. Henry is not aggressive towards other dogs, but he can become quite boisterous and persistent when he wants to play with them. For this reason, we feel Henry would be best suited to a dog-free home where he can receive plenty of attention and guidance. He hasn't yet been cat tested, but this can be arranged if needed. Travelling is no problem for Henry either. He happily jumps into the Islay van and settles down without any fuss, making him an excellent companion for adventures.
