Dne 9. května byl Kintsu vysazen přes plot útulku, jako by to byl kus odpadu. Byl kost a kůže, pokrytý klíšti a za sebou vláčel řetěz o hmotnosti nejméně 10 kg. Dvě kovové spony mu pronikly kůží na krku a rána už byla silně infikovaná. Kintsuovo jméno je inspirováno technikou kintsugi – uměním krásně opravovat rozbité věci. A on skutečně byl opraven. Je to milující, chytrý, milý a pohledný pes! Protože útulek byl v době jeho vyhození zcela plný, umístili jsme Kintsu do kotců k menším psům. Je to svědectví o tom, jak je skutečně milý, že se bez problémů procházel spolu s malými psy, jak samci, tak samičky. Určitě by se mohl připojit k domácímu psu, ale pravděpodobně by upřednostnil kamaráda blízkého velikosti. Během nedávné návštěvy dobrovolníka v útulku Kintsu všechny ohromil tím, že se naučil sedět a „dotýkat se“ doslova během několika minut. Tento chlapec je očividně velmi snadno cvičitelný a určitě by si užíval učení nových věcí. Dne 9. května byl Kintsu vysazen přes plot útulku, jako by to byl kus odpadu. On the 9th of May, Kintsu was thrown over the fence of the sanctuary as if he were a piece of rubbish. He was skin and bones, covered in ticks and dragging a chain weighing at least 10kg behind him. Two metal clips had pierced through the skin on his neck and the wound was already badly infected. Kintsu's name is inspired by kintsugi, the art of repairing broken things beautifully. And he really has been repaired. He's a loving, clever, sweet and handsome dog! Because the sanctuary was entirely full when he was dumped, we put Kintsu in the kennels with the smaller dogs. It's a testament to just how lovely he is that he was out and about with the smalls, both male and female, without any problems. He could definitely join a home with another resident dog, but would probably prefer a friend closer to his own size. During a recent volunteer visit to the sanctuary, Kintsu impressed everyone by learning to sit and "touch" literally within minutes.
