Le 9 mai, Kintsu a été jeté par-dessus la clôture du sanctuaire comme s'il était un rebut. Il était maigre comme un squelette, couvert de tiques et traînant une chaîne pesant au moins 10 kg derrière lui. Deux attaches métalliques avaient percé la peau de son cou et la plaie était déjà très infectée. Le nom de Kintsu est inspiré du kintsugi, l'art de réparer les objets brisés de manière belle. Et il a vraiment été réparé. C'est un chien affectueux, intelligent, doux et séduisant ! Comme le sanctuaire était totalement plein lorsqu'on l'a abandonné, nous avons mis Kintsu dans les boxes avec les petits chiens. C'est un témoignage de la gentillesse qu'il a que lorsqu'il était en compagnie des petits, tant mâles que femelles, sans aucun problème. Il pourrait certainement rejoindre une maison avec un autre chien résident, mais préférerait probablement un ami plus proche de sa taille. Lors d'une visite récente d'un bénévole au sanctuaire, Kintsu a impressionné tout le monde en apprenant à s'asseoir et à "toucher" littéralement en quelques minutes. On the 9th of May, Kintsu was thrown over the fence of the sanctuary as if he were a piece of rubbish. He was skin and bones, covered in ticks and dragging a chain weighing at least 10kg behind him. Two metal clips had pierced through the skin on his neck and the wound was already badly infected. Kintsu's name is inspired by kintsugi, the art of repairing broken things beautifully. And he really has been repaired. He's a loving, clever, sweet and handsome dog! Because the sanctuary was entirely full when he was dumped, we put Kintsu in the kennels with the smaller dogs. It's a testament to just how lovely he is that he was out and about with the smalls, both male and female, without any problems. He could definitely join a home with another resident dog, but would probably prefer a friend closer to his own size. During a recent volunteer visit to the sanctuary, Kintsu impressed everyone by learning to sit and "touch" literally within minutes.
