Luca je zdržovaný a je plachý a utíká, když někdo jen na něj pohlédne. Byl s námi navždy, opravdu. Další rok bude deset let, co je v útulku. A prvních deset let bylo strašné. Ale už ne. Ty strašné dny jsou pryč. Luca je pokorný. Luca je velmi citlivý. Nikdy by nemohl ublížit mušce. Luca nikdy neměl šanci odejít. Nikoho nikdy nenapadlo, že by mohl být jeho pes. Všichni chtějí veselého štěňata, vyhraněného psa, hezkého psa. Luca do těchto standardů nepasuje. Je pro nás milý. Luca měl bratra a sestru. Jeho bratr zemřel loni v útulku. Jeho sestra Alice byla přijata před lety a byla dokonce ještě více plachá než Luca. Když jste na Alice pohlédli, byla tak strašně děsivá, že si začala vylučovat. Jeden den přišla andělsky žena do útulku a požádala mě o nejtěžšího psa ke znovuadoptování a vzala ji. Alice žije ve Finsku a je známa jako Nahá Baletnice. Ráda běhá ven bez bundy a tančí. Přeji si, aby měl Luca stejnou štěstěnu. Myslím, že Luca přijal, že útulek je jeho domov. Myslím také, že někdy, když nikdo nedohlíží, má dobrý čas. To mi říkám, abych se nespolčil. He has been with us forever. Luca is shy and he is timid and he runs away at the sight of someone even glancing towards him. He has been with us forever, really. Next yet year will be TEN YEARS he has been at the shelter. And the first of those ten years were horrible. But not anymore. Long gone are those horrible days. Luca is meek. Luca is highly sensitive. He would not hurt a fly. Luca has never had the chance to go. He was never considered by anyone to be their dog. Everyone wants the fun pup, the outgoing dog, the pretty dog. Luca doesn’t fit to those standards. He is adorable, to us. Luca had a brother and a sister. His brother passed last year at the shelter. His sister Alice was adopted years ago and she was even MORE timid than Luca. When you would look at Alice, she was so terrified, she would defecate. One day an angel of a woman walked into the shelter and asked me for my most difficult dog to rehome and she adopted her. Alice lives in Finland and is known as the Naked Ballerina. She loves to run outside without a coat and she dances. We wish Luca would have such luck. I think that Luca has accepted that the shelter is his home. I also think that sometimes, when no one is watching, he is having a good time. This is what I tell myself not to be sad. Despite his age, Luca is still full of love and affection to give and just needs the right person to bring out the best in him. Please keep in mind that Luca needs a secure garden as he is not able to walk on a leash and would not be able to go for walks. Luca needs a special person who will give him the chance to trust and open up, and provide him with the secure and comfortable home he deserves.
