MARKUS IS LOOKING FOR A HEART TO ADOPT: he is losing his vision due to a chronic condition! Gradually, his world is falling more and more into darkness. There is a treatment, at least to try to stop or slow it down... but it is impossible to follow in a dog shelter! He needs a home, a loving family that can take care of him. Markus, a large bull terrier mix, was found disoriented and terrified on the edge of a busy road. He has turned out to be a dog with a golden character: he is sociable, affectionate and incredibly sweet with everyone, compatible with other dogs (preferably females, although it seems he has no reactions to male dogs). Markus is an example of resilience: despite the illness, abandonment, and progressive eye disease, he remains good. His heart remains pure. He is looking for us following our voices. He will be handed over already microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered. His condition is chronic: Keratoconjunctivitis sicca with nodular episcleritis. His tear glands do not produce the liquid component needed to clean and keep the eye moist, so the eye dries and becomes inflamed, is more prone to infections and the cornea becomes vascularized, blurring vision (progressively until blindness). His treatment is: - Tacrolimus galenic preparation 0.05% (an immunosuppressant on prescription) twice a day for life - Ripagel vet: twice a day for life - Lactated Ringer's solution to clean the eyes before the treatment. He is very good, cooperative, and allows everything to be done!

MARKUS CERCA ADOZIONE DEL CUORE: sta perdendo la vista a causa di una patologia cronica! Piano piano il suo mondo cade sempre più nel buio. Una cura ci sarebbe, almeno per provare a bloccare o rallentare il tutto… ma è impossibile da seguire in canile! Ha bisogno di una casa, una famiglia amorevole che possa prendersene cura. Markus, mix terrier tipo bull taglia grande, è stato trovato disorientato e terrorizzato sul ciglio di una strada trafficata. Si è rivelato un cane dal carattere d'oro: è socievole, affettuoso e incredibilmente dolce con tutti, compatibile con altri cani (preferibilmente femmine, anche se pare non avere reazioni ai suoi simili maschi). Markus è un esempio di resilienza: nonostante il male, l’abbandono, la progressiva malattia agli occhi, lui resta buono. Il suo cuore resta puro. Ci cerca seguendo le nostre voci. Verrà affidato già chippato, vaccinato e castrato. La sua patologia è cronica: Cheratoconginitivite secca con episclerite nodulare Le sue ghiandole lacrimali non producono la componente liquida che serve a detergere e tenere umido l'occhio, per cui questo si secca e si infiamma, è più soggetto ad infezioni e la cornea si vascolarizza offuscando la visione (progressivamente fino a cecità). La sua terapia è: -Tacrolimus preparazione galenica 0.05% (è un immunosoppressore su ricetta) 2 volte al giorno per sempre -Ripagel vet: 2 volte al giorno per sempre -Ringer lattato per detergere gli occhi prima della terapia Lui è buonissimo, collaborativo, si fa fare di tutto! Markus si trova in provincia di Napoli ma può arrivare ovunque per buona adozione
