Nala u nás je dlouho a je velmi milovaná. Když vidí své oblíbené lidi, zoufale zavylá a je skvěle přátelská, tiskne se k vám co nejblíže. Jejímu tří letu je skoro celý život strávený v pohovkách, nikdy nepoznala, jak to je být ve středu láskavé rodiny. Nala je velmi aktivní a ráda je venku, učí se nové triky a dokončuje staré, a její sebevědomí se zlepšilo o krok dál díky její práci s tréninkem Rachel. Doufáme, že najdeme rodinu, která bude stejně zainteresovaná v tréninku jako Nala, a kteří budou pokračovat v tom, co již naučila. Nala může být reaktivní k jiným psům, ale udělala velký pokrok, naučila se pozorovat jiné z dálky bez přílišného znepokojení. Ráda chodí do tišších oblastí, ale díky svému tréninku jí poskytujeme nástroje, aby si poradila, když potká jiného psa. Je překvapivě citlivá dívka, která žije v části centra, kde nemá lidí venku od jejího koše, protože to po tak dlouhé době na tomto místě nachází obtížné. Když zná někoho, Nala je úplně sladká a laskavá a bývá naprostým potěšením strávit s ní čas. Sedět na lavičce s ní na klíně a hladit její krásné měkké srst je jako terapie! Nala měla dosud poměrně těžký život a opravdu zaslouží lepší budoucnost. Nala může žít s dětmi staršími 16 let a musí být jediným domácím mazlíčkem. Nemáme pro ni žádný historický záznam, takže nemůžeme zaručit, že je domácí nebo zvyklá, že bude sama pro sebe po určitou dobu.

Nala has been with us a long time now and she is much loved. She cries excitedly when she sees her favourite people and is incredibly affectionate, snuggling into you as close as she possibly can. She’s just three years old and has spent almost all her life in kennels, never properly knowing what it’s like to be at the heart of a loving family. Nala is very active and loves to be outside, learning new tricks and perfecting her old ones, and her confidence has come on in leaps and bounds thanks to her hard work with her trainer Rachel. We’re hoping to find her a family who will be as interested in training as Nala is, and who will keep up what she’s already learned. Nala can be reactive to other dogs but has made great progress, learning to observe others from a distance without getting too worried. She does prefer walks in quieter areas but through her training we’re giving her the tools to manage when she bumps into another dog. She’s a surprisingly sensitive girl who lives in a part of the centre where she doesn’t have people outside her kennel as she is finding this difficult after being here so long. When she knows someone, Nala is just so sweet and loving and an absolute pleasure to spend time with. Sitting on a bench with her on your lap, stroking her beautiful soft fur is like therapy! Nala has had a pretty hard life so far and she really deserves a brighter future. Nala can live with children over 16 and needs to be the only pet at home. We have no history for her so cannot guarantee that she is house trained or used to being left by herself for any length of time.
