Nala è con noi da molto tempo ormai e è molto amata. Piange eccitatamente quando vede le sue persone preferite ed è incredibilmente affettuosa, stringendosi a voi il più possibile. Ha tre anni e ha trascorso quasi tutta la sua vita in gabbia, non conoscendo mai veramente cosa significhi essere al centro di una famiglia amorevole. Nala è molto attiva e ama stare all'aperto, imparare nuove abilità e perfezionare quelle vecchie, e la sua sicurezza è cresciuta notevolmente grazie al suo duro lavoro con il suo addestratore Rachel. Speriamo di trovare una famiglia che sia interessata all’addestramento tanto quanto lo è Nala, e che continui a mantenere ciò che ha già imparato. Nala può reagire agli altri cani ma ha fatto grandi progressi, imparando a osservarli da lontano senza preoccuparsi troppo. Le piacciono le passeggiate in aree più tranquille ma, attraverso il suo addestramento, le stiamo dando gli strumenti per gestire quando incontra un altro cane. È una ragazza sorprendentemente sensibile che vive in un'area del centro dove non ha persone fuori dalla sua gabbia poiché sta trovando questa situazione difficile dopo esser stata qui così a lungo. Quando conosce qualcuno, Nala è dolce e affettuosa e un vero piacere passare del tempo con lei. Seduti su una panchina con lei sulle vostre gambe, accarezzandole i bei peli morbidi è come una terapia! Nala ha avuto una vita abbastanza dura finora e merita davvero un futuro più luminoso. Nala può vivere con bambini over 16 e deve essere l'unico animale domestico in casa. Non abbiamo alcun histórico per lei quindi non possiamo garantire che sia addestrata in casa o abituata a rimanere sola per periodi prolungati.

Nala has been with us a long time now and she is much loved. She cries excitedly when she sees her favourite people and is incredibly affectionate, snuggling into you as close as she possibly can. She’s just three years old and has spent almost all her life in kennels, never properly knowing what it’s like to be at the heart of a loving family. Nala is very active and loves to be outside, learning new tricks and perfecting her old ones, and her confidence has come on in leaps and bounds thanks to her hard work with her trainer Rachel. We’re hoping to find her a family who will be as interested in training as Nala is, and who will keep up what she’s already learned. Nala can be reactive to other dogs but has made great progress, learning to observe others from a distance without getting too worried. She does prefer walks in quieter areas but through her training we’re giving her the tools to manage when she bumps into another dog. She’s a surprisingly sensitive girl who lives in a part of the centre where she doesn’t have people outside her kennel as she is finding this difficult after being here so long. When she knows someone, Nala is just so sweet and loving and an absolute pleasure to spend time with. Sitting on a bench with her on your lap, stroking her beautiful soft fur is like therapy! Nala has had a pretty hard life so far and she really deserves a brighter future. Nala can live with children over 16 and needs to be the only pet at home. We have no history for her so cannot guarantee that she is house trained or used to being left by herself for any length of time.
