Twist was found and has never been claimed, despite extensive searches. He has probably been abandoned, as he is a cat that has had close contact with humans: he is very sociable and affectionate. He is a very energetic kitten who needs to burn off a lot of energy: playing, running, jumping, chasing flies... anything goes for fun! During play or after a quiet day, emotions can sometimes overflow because he has trouble channeling them. He will need a rich environment and a lot of activities (interactive feeders, independent games, cat trees, shelves, scratching posts, etc.) and patient human beings who will help him better manage this excess energy by providing him with appropriate activities. Twist will probably be able to adapt to any context as long as we offer him a sufficiently rich environment and activities to burn off his energy. Given his current behavior (which can change, as his rescue is recent), we will prefer a family in a house with an outdoor area and without other cats.

Twist a été trouvé et n'a jamais été réclamé, malgré des recherches extensives. Il a sûrement été abandonné, car c'est un chat qui a connu les humain·es de près : il est très sociable et câlin. C'est un petit chat très énergique qui a besoin de beaucoup se dépenser : jouer, courir, sauter, chasser les mouches… tout est bon pour s'amuser ! Pendant le jeu ou après une journée peu animée, les émotions peuvent parfois déborder car il a du mal à les canaliser. Il lui faudra un environnement riche et beaucoup d'occupation (gamelle ludique, jeux en autonomie, arbres à chats, étagères, griffoir, etc.) et des humain·es patient·es qui l'aideront à mieux gérer cette énergie débordante en lui apportant des activités adaptées. Twist pourra sûrement s'adapter à tout contexte tant qu'on lui offre un environnement suffisamment riche et des activités pour se dépenser. Au vu de son comportement actuel (qui peut évoluer, son sauvetage reste récent) nous privilégierons une famille en maison avec un extérieur et sans autres chats.
