Boyka som beskrevet af frivillig Barry ... Boyka er en meget venlig, men forvirret dreng. Han barker mod katte, men giver ikke indtryk af aggression. Mere usikkerhed. Han går meget godt og er menneske- og børnevenlig. I øjeblikket har han et meget svagt bagende og er nede på sine hæfter. Han har brug for træning og tid. Reaktiv over for hunde i øjeblikket. Omtrent vægt 28,5 kg Frivilligrapport fra Ruth 18/04/26: Boyka har stort behov for at afslapte. Han er reaktiv over for hundene i kenerne og har brug for afstand fra dem, når han er udenfor. Han vevet fra den ene side til den anden, som om han arbejder. Du skal arbejde for at få hans opmærksomhed. Det er ganske svært at vurdere, hvilken type hund han bliver efter nogle uger af at afslapte.

BOYKA – A GERMAN SHEPHERD WITHOUT A JOB, WITHOUT A HOME Boyka isn’t just any dog… he’s a German Shepherd. And that matters. Dogs like Boyka are bred to be close to their people, to have a purpose, to think, to learn, to belong. They don’t cope well being left on the sidelines… and right now, that’s exactly where he is. Boyka is living in kennels surrounded by around 250 barking dogs — constant noise, constant stimulation, no real switch-off. For a sensitive, intelligent breed like a GSD, it’s overwhelming. He gets out for walks about 4 times a week, and he loves them. You can see the change in him — the focus, the connection, the relief. But it’s not enough for a dog like this. A German Shepherd needs: daily mental and physical stimulation structure and guidance a close bond with their person a calm space to decompress Right now, Boyka has none of that. He doesn’t just need out of the kennel… he needs a life with meaning. A home where he can use his brain, stretch his legs every day, and finally feel secure. Without that, dogs like Boyka slowly shut down… or become frustrated. And that’s not who he is — not really. This environment is not built for dogs like him. But the right home could change everything. If you understand the breed, if you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent companion, Boyka could be your dog.
