Boyka, wie von Volunteer Barry beschrieben... Boyka ist ein sehr sanfter, aber verwirrter Junge. Er bellt auf Katzen, gibt aber nicht den Eindruck von Aggression. Mehr Unsicherheit. Er geht sehr gut und ist menschen- und kinderfreundlich. Im Moment hat er einen sehr schwachen Hinterteil und hockt sich nieder. Er braucht Bewegung und Zeit. Reagiert derzeit auf Hunde. Näherungsweise Gewicht 28,5 kg. Freiwilligenbericht von Ruth 18/04/26: Boyka benötigt dringend Entspannung. Er reagiert auf die Hunde in den Käfigen und benötigt Abstand zu ihnen, wenn er draußen ist. Er wechselt von einer Seite zur anderen, als ob er arbeitet. Man muss sich anstrengen, um seine Aufmerksamkeit zu gewinnen. Es ist ziemlich schwierig abzuschätzen, welcher Art der Hund nach ein paar Wochen Entspannung sein wird.

BOYKA – A GERMAN SHEPHERD WITHOUT A JOB, WITHOUT A HOME Boyka isn’t just any dog… he’s a German Shepherd. And that matters. Dogs like Boyka are bred to be close to their people, to have a purpose, to think, to learn, to belong. They don’t cope well being left on the sidelines… and right now, that’s exactly where he is. Boyka is living in kennels surrounded by around 250 barking dogs — constant noise, constant stimulation, no real switch-off. For a sensitive, intelligent breed like a GSD, it’s overwhelming. He gets out for walks about 4 times a week, and he loves them. You can see the change in him — the focus, the connection, the relief. But it’s not enough for a dog like this. A German Shepherd needs: daily mental and physical stimulation structure and guidance a close bond with their person a calm space to decompress Right now, Boyka has none of that. He doesn’t just need out of the kennel… he needs a life with meaning. A home where he can use his brain, stretch his legs every day, and finally feel secure. Without that, dogs like Boyka slowly shut down… or become frustrated. And that’s not who he is — not really. This environment is not built for dogs like him. But the right home could change everything. If you understand the breed, if you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent companion, Boyka could be your dog.
