Cacao is an adorable elderly cat who finally deserves to experience the warmth and comfort of a loving home. At his age, he has several minor health issues that will require an attentive and caring family—one that’s ready to provide him with the comfort he truly deserves. Having spent his entire life outdoors, Cacao is still somewhat shy around humans. Nevertheless, he’s making wonderful progress every day and is gradually learning that petting, the warmth of a cozy basket, and the presence of kind people can all be signs of safety and security. He’ll simply need time to build up his trust. Cacao gets along exceptionally well with other cats, and their company could bring him reassurance in his future home. Given his past, having secure, limited outdoor access would be a real bonus for his well-being—allowing him to continue enjoying what he’s always known while also giving him the option to come back inside and warm up whenever he chooses.
