At his age, he has several minor health issues that will require an attentive and caring family—one that’s ready to provide him with the comfort he truly deserves. Having spent his entire life outdoors, Cacao is still somewhat shy around humans. Nevertheless, he’s making wonderful progress every day and is gradually learning that petting, the warmth of a cozy basket, and the presence of kind people can all be signs of safety and security. He’ll simply need time to build up his trust. Cacao gets along exceptionally well with other cats, and their company could bring him reassurance in his future home. Given his past, having secure, limited outdoor access would be a real bonus for his well-being—allowing him to continue enjoying what he’s always known while also giving him the option to come back inside and warm up whenever he chooses.

Cacao est un adorable papy chat qui mérite enfin de connaître la douceur d'un foyer. Son âge s'accompagne de plusieurs petits soucis de santé qui nécessiteront une famille attentive et bienveillante, prête à lui offrir le confort qu'il mérite. Habitué à vivre dehors toute sa vie, Cacao est encore timide avec l'humain. Malgré cela, il fait de très beaux progrès chaque jour et apprend peu à peu que les caresses, la chaleur d'un panier et la présence de personnes bienveillantes peuvent être synonymes de sécurité. Il aura simplement besoin de temps pour accorder sa confiance. Cacao s'entend très bien avec ses congénères, dont la présence pourra être rassurante pour lui dans son futur foyer. Au vu de son passé, un petit accès sécurisé à l'extérieur serait un véritable plus pour son bien-être, afin qu'il puisse continuer à profiter de ce qu'il a toujours connu tout en ayant la possibilité de rentrer au chaud lorsqu'il le souhaite.
