Our little Dodo is the perfect embodiment of the motto “Small but mighty!” He’s an absolute ray of sunshine—a funny little clown who brings a smile to your face every single day. When he’s not up to his usual mischief, he transforms into a pro cuddler: he’s incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than being close to his people. But don’t let his manageable size and sweet little eyes fool you—this little rascal has quite the sly streak and can be downright cheeky at times! From day one, he’ll need loving yet absolutely consistent training. If you give in even once, you’ll lose all control immediately—he’ll start getting his way right away and will mercilessly manipulate his humans. He needs firm boundaries to guide him and give him structure. Due to a congenital malalignment of one of his front legs, he’s looking for a ground-level home without any stairs. This particular trait hardly limits him in his daily life; he loves to dash around and play with boundless enthusiasm. However, long hikes involving steep terrain are out of the question because of his leg issue. Since he’s currently living happily alongside another dog here, having an existing first dog in his new home would be entirely feasible.

Unser kleiner Dodo ist das perfekte Beispiel für das Motto “ Klein, aber oho!“. Er ist ein absoluter Sonnenschein, ein witziger kleiner Clown und bringt einen täglich zum Lachen. Wenn er gerade keine Flausen im Kopf hat, mutiert er zum Profi-Kuschler, denn er ist extrem verschmust und sucht die Nähe seiner Menschen. Aber man sollte sich von seiner handlichen Größe und dem süßen Blick nicht täuschen lassen: Der Fratz hat es Faustdick hinter den Ohren und ist phasenweise schlichtweg rotzfrech! Er braucht ab Tag eins eine liebevolle, aber absolut konsequente Erziehung. Wer bei ihm auch nur einmal weich wird hat sofort verloren – er macht sofort was er will, und tanzt seinen Menschen gnadenlos auf der Nase herum. Er braucht feste Grenzen an denen er sich orientieren kann. Aufgrund einer angeborenen Fehlstellung eines Vorderbeines sucht er ein ebenerdiges Zuhause ohne Treppen. Diese Besonderheit schränkt ihn im Alltag kaum ein, er flitzt und spielt leidenschaftlich gern. Riesige Mammut-Wanderungen fallen wegen des Beinchens aber aus. Da er bei uns aktuell problemlos mit einem Artgenossen zusammenlebt, wäre ein beriets vorhandener Ersthund im neuen Heim absolut denkbar.
