Dodo came to our animal shelter originally with two other dogs from Romania and is still looking for a lovely home. Dodo is a very people-oriented, cuddly and charming little fellow who wins everyone's heart within seconds. He learns very quickly, though not only commands but also how to wrap his humans around his little finger to get his way. People are needed here who remain consistent despite his cute appearance and set up reliable rules. Our likeable chatterbox gets along well with other dogs and could also live with older children. He has not lived in a house before, so it is unknown whether he is house-trained, can be left alone, or is used to car travel. His new family will therefore still need to practice a lot with him. Dodo presumably had an accident in his past, which is why one of his front paws is misshapen. This does not limit him in any way, however, and he can still play, romp around and go for walks. In addition, a heart defect was diagnosed in him, which currently does not affect him and requires no medication. This should nevertheless be kept an eye on. For Dodo we are looking for a nice family who would enjoy a lively companion who still has some everyday things to learn.

Dodo kam ursprünglich mit zwei anderen Hunden aus Rumänien zu uns ins Tierheim und sucht weiterhin nach einem schönen Zuhause. Dodo ist ein sehr Menschenbezogener, verschmuster und charmanter kleiner Kerl, der jedermanns Herz innerhalb von Sekunden im Sturm erobert. Er lernt sehr schnell, allerdings nicht nur Kommandos, sondern auch, wie er seine Menschen um den Finger wickelt, damit er seinen Willen bekommt. Hier sind Menschen gefragt, die trotz seines niedlichen Aussehens konsequent bleiben und verlässliche Regeln aufstellen. Unser sympathischer Quatschkopf ist verträglich mit Artgenossen und könnte auch mit größeren Kindern zusammenleben. Er hat zuvor noch nicht in einem Haus gelebt, daher ist unbekannt, ob er stubenrein ist, alleine bleiben kann oder das Autofahren kennt. Daher wird seine neue Familie noch einiges mit ihm üben müssen. Vermutlich hatte Dodo in seiner Vergangenheit einen Unfall, weshalb eine seiner Vorderpfoten verwachsen ist. Dies schränkt ihn allerdings keineswegs ein und er kann nach wie vor spielen, toben und spazieren gehen. Außerdem wurde bei ihm ein Herzfehler festgestellt, der ihn aktuell aber nicht beeinträchtigt und keine medikamentöse Behandlung benötigt. Dies sollte allerding weiterhin im Auge behalten werden. Für Dodo suchen wir eine nette Familie, die Lust auf einen quirligen Begleiter haben, der noch einige alltägliche Sachen lernen darf.
