30-05-26 Dutch is an incredible boy who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a fresh start. He is a lovely, affectionate boy who enjoys a fuss and will happily take treats from us. Dutch would be happy to be homed as an only dog as long as his adopters were around most of the time and had plenty of time to spend with him. We would also consider homing him with a medium or large female dog, but we wouldn't home him with any small or male dogs. He would be well suited to a home with adopters who have experience with the breed or similar breeds. As Dutch has never lived in a home before, he will need to learn all about house training and the other basics of home life. With patience and guidance, we think he will adapt well and enjoy all the comforts a home has to offer. Dutch can already walk well on a lead, though he can be a little reactive when passing other kennels, this is understandable in a busy rescue environment, but may be something his adopters will need to work with him on. He is an energetic and incredibly lovely bo who ie is happy-go-lucky in nature and is more than ready to start adventuring with his new adopters. He would love an active home where he can enjoy plenty of walks, enrichment, and quality time with his people. Dutch could share his home with older, dog-savvy teenagers who can appreciate and understand that he will need a gentle and quiet introduction to the home, along with his own space to settle in. He is a bright, affectionate, and fun-loving boy who is sure to make a wonderful and loyal companion for a lucky family. Dutch has a passport and travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
