30-05-26 Dutch est un merveilleux garçon qui est entré dans notre protection à partir d'un éleveur en quête d'une nouvelle vie. Il est un charmant, affectueux garçon qui apprécie les attentions et acceptera volontiers des friandises. Dutch serait heureux d'être adopté en tant que seul chien, à condition que ses adoptants soient présents la plupart du temps et aient beaucoup de temps à lui consacrer. Nous considérerions également l'adoption avec un chien femelle de taille moyenne ou grande, mais nous ne le placerions pas avec aucun petit chien ou chien mâle. Il conviendrait bien à un foyer où les adoptants ont une expérience du pedigree ou de races similaires. Comme Dutch n'a jamais vécu à la maison auparavant, il devra apprendre tout sur l'éducation canine et les bases de la vie à la maison. Avec patience et orientation, nous pensons qu'il s'adaptera bien et profitera de tous les confort qu'une maison peut offrir. Dutch sait déjà marcher bien en laisse, bien qu'il puisse être un peu réactif lorsqu'il passe devant d'autres cages, ce qui est compréhensible dans un environnement de secours actif, mais cela pourrait être quelque chose dont les adoptants devront travailler avec lui. C'est un garçon énergique et extrêmement charmant qui est naturellement optimiste et prêt à commencer à explorer avec ses nouveaux adoptants. Il aimera un foyer actif où il pourra profiter de nombreuses promenades, de stimulations et de temps de qualité avec sa famille. Dutch pourrait partager sa maison avec des adolescents plus âgés qui comprennent et apprécient qu'il ait besoin d'une introduction douce et calme à la maison, ainsi qu'un espace personnel pour s'installer. C'est un garçon intelligent, affectueux et joueur qui fera certainement un merveilleux et fidèle compagnon pour une famille chanceuse. Dutch possède un passeport et un document de voyage. Ce chien peut être adopté avec un chien résident.

Dutch is an incredible boy who has come into our care from a pound in Ireland in search of a fresh start. Unfortunately, we don't know much about his history, but what we do know is that he is one of the most loving and affectionate dogs you could ever hope to meet, with a heart as big as his personality. Dutch simply wants to be close to his people, whether that's following you around, leaning into you for fuss, or curling up beside you for cuddles. Being with the people he loves is all he really wants. Dutch would love to find a home with adopters who are around for most of the day and can include him in everyday life. He thrives on human companionship and will make a wonderfully devoted shadow to his new family. He will need adopters who have experience with similar breeds and understand typical breed traits, including prey drive and the need for appropriate mental and physical enrichment. Dutch would be best suited to life as an only dog. Although he can socialise well with other dogs of a similar size, he can become overexcited and mouthy, which may lead to frustration. Because of this, he is being trained to wear a muzzle during social interactions to help him continue building positive experiences. He cannot live with cats or small furries. As Dutch has never lived in a home before, he will need support with house training and learning the general routines of family life. He is such a clever boy and always tries his very best to do the right thing, so we are confident he will enjoy learning with patient, positive guidance. Dutch already walks well on a lead, although he can occasionally be reactive when passing other kennels. This is understandable in a busy rescue environment and may be something his adopters will need to continue working on. He is an energetic, happy-go-lucky boy who is more than ready to start exploring the world with his new family. An active home where he can enjoy plenty of walks, enrichment, training and quality time with his people would suit him perfectly. Dutch could share his home with older, dog-savvy teenagers who can appreciate that he will need a gentle introduction to his new surroundings and his own space to settle in. Dutch is bright, affectionate and full of love. He has so much to offer and is simply looking for someone to love as much as he loves them. For the right family, he will be an incredibly loyal, fun-loving and devoted companion. Dutch has a passport and travel document.
