Jesse arrived with us in the summer of 2022, one of the 30 cats we rescued in June from the tragically known case of the vampire of Humanes. That man was extracting blood from dogs, cats, and rabbits to sell it, leaving the animals completely drained. And now, he wants to do it again. When we found them, all were in a terrible state. Extremely weak, with severe anemia, and fear etched in their eyes. We continue to fight for them. Jesse still has fear, but with time, we've managed to get him to let us touch him little by little, but he doesn't trust humans. After everything he's lived through, all he needs is something very simple: a quiet home and someone who will love him without expecting too much in return. He gets along well with his companions and is very calm. Jesse needs the most important thing: a permanent home or a permanent foster care. A place where he can heal at his own pace, with patience, and love. Please don't forget them. They've suffered too much and still need our help.
