Panter is a playful, energetic, and adventurous European Shorthair cat, approximately 20 weeks old when he entered a foster home. He is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and de-fleaed, and comes with a referral letter for neutering. Panter is well-adjusted to household sounds and routines, quickly recognizing when food is being prepared. He is not afraid of the vacuum cleaner, but rather finds it an interesting object that requires a step to the side. Panter is also interested in the other cats in the foster home, but has not had enough time to determine if he enjoys living with other cats. Panter enjoys being near people, chatting with anyone who enters the room and demanding a pet or, preferably, a play session. When working on the computer, he likes to walk by your screen to get attention. Alternatively, he will place a paper wad next to you, as Panter is skilled at fetching. When he throws the wad, he asks you to throw it again and again. If Panter is bored or tense, he may attack a leg or arm with his claws. He can be distracted with a toy or a calm voice indicating that this is not the intended behavior. In the foster home, this behavior is slowly decreasing by ensuring he receives sufficient distraction throughout the day and rest when there are too many stimuli. With patience and proper guidance, Panter will likely learn to manage this behavior. Therefore, he is not a good match for households with young children or people without experience with cats. Wanneer de kennismaking positief verloopt, wordt de verdere administratieve afhandeling geregeld bij de Dierenopvang (op afspraak). Met het gastgezin maakt u dan een afspraak om de kitten op te halen. Op deze manier zorgen we ervoor dat elke kat op de juiste plek terechtkomt voor een liefdevolle en blijvende toekomst!
