Vimto would thrive in a quiet adult-only home with no children or visiting children, as sudden movements and loud noises can make him feel uncomfortable. Vimto is a sensitive and extremely nervous three-year-old Border Collie who is looking for a calm, patient and understanding family willing to help him build confidence at his own pace. He is a very withdrawn boy initially and takes time to trust new people, preferring to observe from a distance until he feels safe. Once a bond has been formed, Vimto's affectionate nature shines through and he will happily seek out cuddles, leaning into you for comfort and reassurance. He is particularly vigilant when out and about and feels most secure in familiar, enclosed spaces. New experiences can be overwhelming for him, so he benefits from being allowed to investigate things independently and in his own time. Vimto craves human companionship once he trusts someone and will need a home where any time spent alone can be introduced very gradually.
