Hollander ist kürzlich zu uns gekommen, nachdem die Gesundheit seines Besitzers leider schlecht wurde. Mit nur 9 Monaten und als Mischling aus drei sehr aktiven Rassen ist Hollander ein sehr aktiver Junge, der ständig unterwegs sein möchte. Hollander hat sich als sehr geselliger Junge gezeigt, sowohl mit Menschen als auch mit anderen Hunden. Hollander lebte immer in einem Haushalt mit mehreren Hunden und folgt dem Vorbild eines selbstsicheren Hundes. Wir suchen daher für Hollander eine neue Familie mit einem spielerischen Hundekumpanen. Hollander hat bisher mit Katzen gelebt und könnte dies wieder mit schrittweisen Einführungen tun. Hollander ist ein Wissenssauger und liebt es, Neues zu lernen. Vor seinem Eintritt zu uns hatte er ein geschütztes Leben, sodass die Grundlagen wie Spaziergang an der Leine neu für ihn waren, doch er hat dies schnell gelernt! Ein Besitzer mit Interesse an Trainingsmethoden wäre ideal, um Hollanders Geist aktiv und beschäftigt zu halten. Der frühere Besitzer von Hollander berichtete, dass er stubenrein war, jedoch würde er, wie bei allen Hunden, die in ein neues Umfeld wechseln, von einer Rückkehr zum Anfang profitieren. Hollander wird wahrscheinlich benötigen, dass die Zeit, die er alleine zu Hause verbringt, allmählich erhöht wird. Hollander recently arrived in our care after his owner’s health sadly declined. At only 9 months old and being a mix of 3 very active breeds, Hollander is a very active boy that loves to be on the go. Hollander has shown himself to be a very sociable boy both with people and other dogs. Hollander has always lived in a multi dog household and takes his lead from a confident canine role model, we are therefore looking for Hollander to be rehomed with another playful canine companion. Hollander has previously lived with cats so could potentially do so again with gradual introductions.Hollander is a sponge for knowledge and loves to learn new things, he has had a sheltered life prior to coming into our care so the basics such as walking on a lead were all new to him, however, he has picked this up in no time! An owner who has a keen interest in training would be ideal for Hollander to keep him active mind busy. Hollander’s previous owner reported he was housetrained, however as we would expect with all dogs transitioning to a new environment he would benefit from going back to the beginning.
