Donna adoptieren

Pudel · Weiblich · Jung · 3 Jahre

Donna came to us from a breeder to find her forever home, and while she arrived as a very worried little girl, she has been making such lovely progress. Although she can still be sensitive in new situations, Donna has been bravely coming out of her shell and showing us what a sweet and gentle soul she truly is. She has gone from being visibly frightened of human touch to now approaching for a gentle fuss and even asking for more when you stop. It has been a joy to watch her confidence begin to blossom, and we feel sure she will continue to flourish in a home environment with people of her own. Donna is an absolute darling to care for and never puts a paw wrong. She is a quiet, innocent little lady who enjoys life’s simple pleasures. Food is certainly a favourite, along with sunbathing, cosy beds, toys, and having a peaceful place to relax. We think she will absolutely adore home comforts and having her own garden to potter around in. Donna will be looking for a calm and quiet home with patient, understanding adopters who will go at her pace and help her work through any worries she may have. She would love a kind, calm resident dog who won’t be too overwhelming and can gently show her the ropes. Having a steady canine friend beside her will help her continue to build confidence in the world around her. As Donna has never lived in a home before, her adopters will need to be supportive as she learns all about home life, including house training and everyday routines. She is still finding lead walking quite scary at the moment, particularly the tension on the lead, so this will need to be introduced very gradually, ideally starting in a secure garden and building up slowly and positively. Donna could live with older dog-savvy teens who understand the importance of giving her space as she settles. Beneath her sensitive nature is a devoted and rewarding little companion waiting to bloom. Donna has already come so far, and in the right home, with kindness and love, we know she has the potential to thrive and be someone’s very special best friend. Our vets have noted that she has a lump on her neck, which will be assessed further at the time of her spay. She is also being treated for mild bilateral conjunctivitis. Donna has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
