Scrappy is a lively young chap who thinks toys are great fun and particularly enjoys a game with his teddies. Playful in nature, Scrappy has a huge personality compared to his size. More than anything, he loves people and especially hopping up onto your lap for cuddles after a nice walk. Scrappy adores all kinds of doggy games and is very smart, it's a great opportunity for him to use his mind. He will bring a lot of joy to an active family who are happy to have a dog who prefers human company, over other dogs. This wonderful little chap has so much love to give his new family! Appointment slots are available from 12 - 5.30pm on Monday - Friday. Scrappy is a 4-year-old Terrier cross with an affectionate nature and bundles of energy who loves being around people. He enjoys sitting on a lap for a fuss and a massage and could share his new home with children of 14 years who are comfortable around energetic dogs. Scrappy would be happiest in a more rural home environment with access to quieter walking areas that aren't heavily used by other dogs. He can find busy areas overwhelming, so having his own secure private garden would really help him relax and enjoy his space. Scrappy is comfortable wearing his muzzle on his walks, which helps him feel safe and supported. He travels really well in the car, making trips to new and interesting walking spots a breeze. Scrappy would be happiest as the only pet in the home, and isn't suited to living with other dogs, cats, small animals or birds. Scrappy’s new adopters will need to live within 2 hours from our Shoreham rehoming centre.
