Mrs. Hoppel is an unneutered Rex rabbit mix and was born around April 2025. She was surrendered because her previous owners were no longer allowed to keep her in the apartment. Our hare rabbit, TONGA, came to us as a found animal from the animal shelter. He is neutered and was likely born in January 2022. Here at the animal shelter, the two have found each other and are delighted with a new loving home where they can continue to live together. Mrs. Hoppel and TONGA are suitable for both indoor and outdoor living, provided they have a cage with at least 8 m² available to them. Both are very friendly, curious, and people-oriented. TONGA shows some shyness at first but warms up after a short period of getting used to his surroundings and becomes just as cuddly as his partner. Mrs. Hoppel is particularly voracious and loves to snuggle in the hay and wait for her next meal.
