Trigger adoptieren

Trigger is a one‑year‑old Crossbreed who came into our care as a stray, so his early history is unknown. What we do know is that he is very much a young dog with huge potential ahead of him. As he continues to mature, he will thrive with ongoing training, gentle guidance, and a consistent routine to help him grow in confidence and skills. In his foster home, Trigger has shown that he can relax and settle beautifully indoors. He enjoys routine and sleeps soundly through the night. He copes well with everyday household noises and clearly values having a safe, cosy space to unwind after his walks. Trigger is fully housetrained and he communicates clearly when he needs to go outside. He has also been left alone for up to an hour and settled well, choosing to sleep during this time. Car travel is something Trigger currently finds challenging, and he has experienced travel sickness on longer journeys. He has been making great progress with his confidence around car travel but would need supportive owners who are happy to help him build confidence at his own pace if further travel training is needed. Ideally his new home would have great walking routes on the doorstep. Trigger would truly flourish in a calm, predictable home where he can enjoy a steady routine and a relaxed atmosphere. He feels most comfortable in quiet to moderately busy environments and loves peaceful walks, making a rural or low‑traffic setting an ideal match for him. He would be happiest living with adults or secondary‑school‑aged children who can match his size and enthusiasm as he is a playful, energetic adolescent dog. He can also settle throughout the day and enjoys napping on the sofa or in his crate. Trigger is eager to learn and would benefit from a family that enjoys training and building a strong bond through positive, reward‑based methods. Ongoing support with play manners and confidence‑building will help him continue to grow into his best self. A secure garden would be perfect for Trigger to relax and play, though he would also do well with a committed owner who is happy to use a long line initially if fencing is lower as he is able to jump very high.
