Anfangs schüchtern, wird er nach und nach spielerisch und kuschelig, sobald er sich wohl fühlt. Kann von Schlaf zu einem schnellen Renne im Garten übergehen, um Bälle zu jagen. Gedeiht in Haushalten mit Erwachsenen als einzige Haustier, mag aber Spaziergänge mit ruhigen Hunden. Freut sich, einige Stunden alleine gelassen zu werden, nachdem er sich bewegt hat.
