Zac ist ein sensibler Collie aus einem Züchter, der wenig Liebe erfahren hat. Er ist äußerst nervös gegenüber Menschen, besonders Männern, und wurde von einer früheren Adoption zurückgegeben. Er benötigt eine Haushaltung ohne Kinder mit erfahrenen, geduldigen Adoptanten, die meistens zu Hause sind. Er verträgt sich nicht mit anderen Hunden oder Katzen und muss das einzige Haustier sein. Obwohl er zunächst schüchtern ist, zeigt er Anzeichen von Zuneigung, sobald er Vertrauen fasst. Er lernt gerade, an der Leine zu gehen, aber erschrickt leicht. Da er noch nie in einem Zuhause gelebt hat, benötigt er Unterstützung bei der Wohnungshygiene und ist derzeit unterschwer. Mit Geduld und Liebe kann dieser sanfte Mensch zu einem treuen Begleiter werden.

Zac is a sensitive little soul who has come to us from a breeder and, sadly, it seems he has known very little kindness or care in his life so far. Human contact is still something he is learning to understand, and when you look into his eyes, you can see a story of sadness and hope. Beneath it all lies a gentle boy just waiting for his chance to be truly loved. Zac was adopted for a short period but was unfortunately returned as he was nervous of the man in the household. He is such a sweet boy, he’s just unsure and needs a calm, patient environment to build his confidence. He will need an adult-only home where his adopters can work with him gently and give him the time and reassurance he deserves. At first, Zac can be shy and hesitant, but with patience, he begins to show his tender, loving nature. Once he trusts you, he may lean in for a chin scratch or even roll over for a belly rub, small, precious signs of the devoted companion he longs to become. He is already learning to walk on a lead and is doing really well, though sudden movements or unexpected noises can still make him anxious. A calm, understanding home where he can take life at his own pace will help him feel safe and supported. Although Zac is quite worried, he doesn't like to share his space with other dogs and so he will be looking for a home where he can be the only dog. He would benefit from adopters who have experience with nervous dogs and who are around most of the time to help him settle in and will need a home without cats. As Zac has never truly lived in a home before, he will need support with house training, adjusting to family life, and discovering all the new sights and sounds of a loving household. He has also come to us underweight, so a hearty diet (with plenty of treats along the way) will help him grow in strength and confidence. What Zac needs most is someone who can see past his initial worries and recognise the sweet, gentle boy he truly is. With patience, love, and understanding, he will blossom into a loyal and devoted companion. He really is the sweetest soul, he just needs the right people to give him the chance he so deeply deserves. Zac has a travel document.
