Meet Alfie Alfie is a 10-year-old Cotonese looking for a loving home to call his own. Alfie loves heading out for his walks, taking plenty of time to stop and investigate all the interesting sights and smells along the way. When the mood strikes Alfie enjoys playing with toys, especially his favourite mini tennis balls. He adores being the centre of attention and will happily climb onto your lap for cuddles and affection. He loves being around people and finds being left alone difficult. He is currently undergoing training to help build his confidence when alone and will need a patient family who can be home for much of the day while he settles in and continues this training. He can be a little worried around some dogs, this is easily managed by giving him the space he needs to feel comfortable and safe. Alfie is looking for a home where he will be the only pet. He may be able to live with sensible children aged 8 years and over, subject to successful introductions. Adopters will need to have a discussion with our veterinary team before adoption, as Alfie has some ongoing medical issues.
