Angel is a sweet, affectionate girl who forms strong bonds with the people she trusts and loves nothing more than sharing cuddles and spending quality time with her family. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she has had limited experience interacting with them and is still learning how to read canine social cues. Some dogs excitable dogs can make her feel worried, and she much prefers calm, well-mannered companions. Angel could potentially live with another well-matched dog, ideally one with a calm and independent nature (and neutered if male), although she would also be happy as the only dog in the home. She would benefit from having steady walking friends to help her gain confidence around other dogs. Angel is looking for a quieter household with few visitors, where she can enjoy a slower pace of life with people who will offer reassurance, patience and understanding. In return, she will reward her new family with loyalty, affection and the joy of watching her confidence grow every day. Angel is a beautiful one-year-old girl looking for a patient and understanding family who can help her continue to build her confidence. She can be worried when meeting new people and takes a little time to warm up, so she needs adopters who are happy to let her go at her own pace and help her feel safe and secure. Multiple meets will be needed here at the centre before Angel goes home. Angel is a sensitive soul who can be nervous in new places and is quite noise-sensitive, meaning a quieter home environment would suit her best. She can live with secondary school-aged children who are comfortable around large dogs and understand her need for space. Angel cannot live with cats or small furries. She has a medium energy level and enjoys exploring but prefers quieter walking areas. Angel has not had the chance to see much of the world and can be nervous to start with when introduced to new environments, she will often look towards her handlers for reassurance. Angel will need someone around at home all the time initially, time spent on her own should be introduced gradually once she has settled and feels safe in her new home. A secure private garden would be a huge benefit, giving her a safe space to relax, sunbathe and continue building her confidence.
