Alles, was schiefgehen konnte, ging schief bei diesem total vernachlässigten Mädchen, das anscheinend ihr ganzes Leben lang auf sich allein gestellt war. Leishmaniose im Endstadium, wie man an ihren Füßen sehen kann, die noch geschwollen sind, aber sich verbessern, Zeckenfieber, total anämisch, dehydriert und ausgehungert, und fügt man dazu die frühen Stadien der Schwangerschaft hinzu, die aufgrund ihres Gesundheitszustands abgebrochen werden mussten, hätten weder sie noch die Welpen überlebt. Chanel hat die allerbeste Behandlung erhalten und ist jetzt ein anderes Hund, sie ist auf dem besten Weg der Genesung. Sie liebt die Gesellschaft anderer Hunde, liebt Bauchkitzel von uns Menschen, ist eine temperamentvolle selbstbewusste und lustige Mädchen, die Diva des Tierheims und ein sehr beliebter Hund bei allen Mitarbeitern. Sie bringt uns immer zum Lachen. Die Leinentraining läuft noch, da sie noch nie an der Leine war, aber wir kommen voran. Sie reist gut im AutoAktuell in unserem Tierheim in Pizarra.

Everything that could be wrong was wrong for this totally neglected girl who had just lived rough for we think all her life. Leismaniosis off the scale, as you can see by her feet that are still swollen, but improving, Tick fever, totally anemic, dehydrated and starving, and add to this early stages of pregnancy which had to be terminated due to her health, neither her nor the pups would have survived. Chanel has received the very best treatments and is now a different dog, she is well on the road to recovery. She adores the company of other dogs, adores tummy tickles from us humans, is a feisty confident and funny girl, the Diva of the shelter and a very popular dog with all the staff. She makes us laugh all the time. Lead training is still on going as she has never been on a lead in her life, but we are getting there. She travels well in the carCurrently in our Pizarra shelter.
