Clara sucht ein Pflegeheim ❤️ (wir werden auch Pflege mit Blick auf Adoption in Betracht ziehen) sie ist ein 5-jähriger Boxer-Mischling, wie viele von Ihnen wissen, ist sie kürzlich zu uns aus dem Tierheim gekommen, da sie ernsthaften Risikos ausgesetzt war, eingeschläfert zu werden. Sie war für alle, die sie getroffen haben, wundervoll, aber wir benötigen ein Pflegeheim ohne andere Tiere oder Kinder, damit sie weiter beurteilt werden kann. Sie hat sich als sauber im Haus erwiesen und war nicht zerstörerisch, als sie allein gelassen wurde. Sie hat eine wundervolle spielerische Natur und liebt ein Spiel mit dem Wurfspiel ❤️ Clara wurde gerade kastriert und erholt sich gut, sie hat auch ihre Impfungen begonnen. 💔😥 Loki is still looking for his forever home ❤️ We think Loki is around 7 years old. He has undergone a complete transformation since arriving in foster care. Initially, he was so frightened that he spent his time shaking in fear in his bed and his foster mum could barely touch him for the first three days. However, he has gradually learned to trust and is coming out of his shell more each day. Loki now actively seeks attention, jumping onto the sofa beside his foster mum for fuss and belly rubs. He is also happy to accept attention from strangers when out on walks, although he can occasionally tense up and bark or lunge at some men in particular, due to his mistreatment in the past. This is easily managed with early redirection, calling his name and offering him a tasty treat. When he arrived, Loki was underweight and would inhale his food. But now that he knows meals are regular, he is gaining weight well and often grazes throughout the day. He prefers to eat separately from the other dogs and does not tolerate them when his food is being prepared or when he is eating, but this is easily managed. Outside of mealtimes, he happily shares space, takes treats alongside the other dogs and has integrated very well following careful introductions. He particularly enjoys playing with foster brother Bert and the pair spend much of the day together, while the girls occasionally receive the honour of some Loki playtime too! Loki arrived with sore skin, a haematoma and very severely infected ears. His skin has improved significantly, he is good during baths and is currently being weaned off steroids. His ears have responded well to antibiotics and daily medicated drops. Although he isn't a huge fan of the drops, he is becoming more accepting and the vet is hopeful that once the infection has cleared, routine cleaning every 3-4 days will be enough to keep future infections at bay which will hopefully minimise vet trips as Loki absolutely HATES the vets! As Loki settles further, his true personality is shining through. He is a typical Frenchie, full of character, affectionate and loving once he knows you. He loves walks and would happily spend all day exploring and sniffing if allowed. Loki could happily live with another dog following appropriate introductions and sensible mealtime management due to his food issues, but he would also thrive as an only dog if someone is around most of the time to provide the love and attention he enjoys and deserves.
