Since joining us, he has received veterinary care and is already making progress on his journey. Cooper has now been castrated and has had X-rays after favouring one of his back legs. Sadly, these investigations showed that Cooper has hip dysplasia. He is currently receiving pain relief and is on a programme of gentle exercise while we work closely with our veterinary team to determine the most suitable long-term treatment plan to keep him comfortable and happy. Despite everything, Cooper remains a lovely boy who deserves the chance to enjoy life without pain and continue building his strength and confidence.
