Meet Denia Denia was born March 2025 and came into our care in July of the same year. She was found in the main town of Naxos (Chora) with a severe eye infection and consequently lost her sight in that eye. She is very sweet but extremely shy and hides when we come into the room – but she is playful and happy with other cats. Medical condition Denia lives with FeLV – the Feline Leukemia Virus, a serious, contagious retrovirus that compromises her immune system. It often causes cancer, severe anemia, or secondary infections. While not curable, many cats can live with a good quality of life for months to years with specialized, indoor-only, and stress-free care.
