Doug adoptieren

Mastiff · Männlich · Jung · 2 Jahre

Übersetzung folgt in Kürze.

Doug is a big handsome lad who would thrive in a peaceful and relaxed home environment. He has spent a short time in a home where he has been mostly housetrained and quite content spending a few hours home alone, we believe this could be built up longer as he settles in. Doug does have some ongoing medical needs, which our team at the centre will be happy to discuss with potential adopters. Doug is a 2 year old Mastiff cross with a heart as big as he is! He is a fun, affectionate boy who loves following his nose, so he can pull on the lead when something interesting catches his attention, and he can also be bouncy when excited. Doug enjoys a good play, especially with soft toys! He can find some handling, such as bathing, little overwhelming, so he will need patient, positive support while he learns that these things aren't so scary. Because of his size and enthusiasm, Doug would suit a home with college aged children, who can enjoy his playful side while recognising when he needs a break. He can find meeting new people a little scary, so a safe secure place where he can relax in the home is essential. Doug will need to be only pet for now where he can gradually work on his social skills.
