Sie findet neue Erfahrungen überwältigend und wird während ihrer Anpassung an ein neues Umfeld sanfte Unterstützung benötigen. Ellie hat hier bei Old Windsor langsame aber sichere Fortschritte gemacht, doch es ist wahrscheinlich, dass sie beim Einleben an einem neuen Ort einige Schritte zurückgehen wird. In ihrer vorübergehenden Pflegefamilie war sie die ersten paar Tage äußerst besorgt, doch sobald sie sich sicher fühlte, begann ihre geschäftige, spielende Spaniel-Natur schnell zum Vorschein zu kommen.

Meet Ellie! This beautiful lady is full of energy and can usually be found bouncing off the walls of her pen playing with various different toys. She loves a ball but adores her string toy and will race around her pen trying to catch it. When she is all out of energy she loves to snuggle up on a warm lap and enjoy lots of head and chin rubs. Ellie was worried when she first arrived but she soon settled and should be fine to live with sensible school aged children who will spend lots of time playing with her. She should be fine to settle into a quiet corner of the home with all her resources close by and plenty of cosy hiding spots. She will need a permanent litter tray kept down for her in a private and quiet area of the home. Ellie will need outside access once settled.
