Bonjour, Je m'appelle Jaq!Pleased to meet you all - I have come into the centre as a stray, so the team here have been busy trying to find out lots about me.What they do know is that I'm a super sweet and friendly chap. I am well behaved on my lead and can walk very nicely. Out on my walks I am very chilled and calm and generally only bark and react if another dog does first, but I do think I am best suited to being the only dog in the home. At the moment I'm not too bothered with toys or playing, I much prefer all the fuss and attention. I really enjoy human company and wont be too far from your side, so wouldn't want to be left alone for too long. However, I have managed very well in the kennels here. When I was first found I had sore skin, especially around my face, but it has improved so much already......it's amazing what a bit of TLC can do. But like all the Bulldog breeds I will need some special attention and care with all the folds of skin I have around my face. Something else that comes with my type of breed is the trouble we have with our breathing - so owners who will be mindful not to let me overdo it especially in the warmer weather.I may be able to live with a cat, and the team obviously don't know if I have lived with children before but I wouldn't rule it out as I am such a lovely lad. A little quirk that I do have is that I have a real dislike of bowls.....any water or food bowl gets instantly flipped over by me so I currently get scattered fed my dinners and water bowls stay outside.
