18-07-26 Juniper has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for a loving forever home. She is a lovely girl who is a little overwhelmed at the moment, but she is trying her very best to be brave. When she first meets new people, she prefers to keep a little distance while she watches from afar, however, once she begins to feel comfortable she will quietly roll onto her back to ask for a tummy rub. Juniper will be looking for a calm and quiet home with patient adopters who will allow her to settle at her own pace and continue building her confidence. With time, love and plenty of reassurance, we are sure she will continue to come out of her shell and grow into a wonderful companion. She will also need another kind and confident resident dog who can show her the ropes and help her navigate her new world. As Juniper has never lived in a home before, everything will be a new experience for her. She will need patient guidance as she learns about household life and new skills like house training. She is also yet to learn how to walk on a lead and harness, so this will need to be introduced slowly and positively as her confidence develops. Juniper is a gentle, sweet natured girl who just needs someone willing to give her the time and understanding she deserves. In return, we're sure she'll reward her new family with the most special bond as she learns that life can be filled with kindness, tummy rubs and love. Our vets have noted that Juniper has Grade 3 bilateral luxating patellas. She gets around well and these may improve with gentle exercise as she builds up muscle tone, but this is something her adopters and their vet would need to monitor going forwards as should she need treatment in the future, it wouldn't be coverable by insurance. Our vets will continue to monitor her. Juniper has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
