✨ Meet Magic ✨ Magic is a young, small doodle-type girl who arrived at Almost Home in absolutely heartbreaking condition. She was incredibly thin, smelly, covered in a horrible sticky, tar-like substance, crawling with lice and covered in maggots. Her condition was so severe that the vets initially felt euthanasia was the kindest option. 💔 But Magic had other ideas. ❤️ Fast forward six weeks, and just look at her now! 🥰 She is fully vaccinated, her lice and maggots are gone, and every single day she is leaving the trauma of her past behind. With us, Magic is happy, affectionate and confident. Take her outside of her safe environment, though, and her shy side comes back — but she’s learning more and more every day. Magic is good with other dogs and we feel she could happily share her home with another friendly dog who could help show her the ropes. 🐾 We are looking for a home with children aged 12+ who understand that Magic needs time, patience and plenty of reassurance while she continues to discover just how wonderful life can be. After everything she has been through, Magic deserves a family who will love her, believe in her and give her the time she needs to blossom.
