Marley is a sweet little dog who can be nervous when meeting new people and needs a little extra time to feel safe and comfortable. He isn’t the type of dog who will immediately rush over for cuddles — instead, he needs someone who is willing to let trust develop at his own pace. Marley will need a calm and understanding home where he can settle in without feeling overwhelmed. Having his own safe space will be really important, somewhere he can retreat to whenever he needs some peace and quiet. His space should always be respected, allowing Marley to approach people when he feels ready. His new family will need to be patient, gentle and consistent, understanding that building a relationship with Marley won’t happen overnight. A predictable routine, quiet introductions and giving him the freedom to take things at his own pace will help him gradually gain confidence. Once Marley feels safe and secure, he can begin to show his lovely personality and form a special bond with the people around him. He has so much potential, and with the right person, plenty of patience and lots of understanding. Could you be the patient, caring home that Marley needs? Marley's ideal home - Quiet home where he can slowly build confidence. - Could live with children 12+ that understand he isn't keen on overhandling and needs his own space. - Can live with calm dogs. - Can live with cats and other small animals. - Needs a secure garden with 4ft fencing. - Will need someone at home the majority of the day.
